Decoration: two reserves on the belly—a plum tree and a bird—plus plants and butterflies; the rest of the background and the cover decorated with a floral tendril. Subjects: birds, plum trees, butterflies, plant motifs., A rounded teapot and a separate lid rest on a reflective surface against a plain grey background. The teapot has a deep blue upper surface with floral motifs in green, white, yellow, and red, and a band of textured, pebble-like patterning in grey and brown around its midsection accented with red and turquoise floral decorations. The handle and spout are dark brown with a subtle scale-like or dotted texture, and the spout tip shows a small area of red. The separate lid echoes the teapot’s colors with blue, red, turquoise, white, and gold decorative patterns and a central metallic, sculpted finial in an aged brass or bronze tone. The reflection of both objects is visible on the surface below.
