Bowl, Abdullazad Mirza Baba fl. ante 1939, Islamic art, Persian, Qajar dynasty 1785–1925, 2nd half of the 19th century, Iran. Glazed ceramic household vessel tableware, bowl; height 8 cm, diameter 19 cm. Decoration: figurative scenes with female images, dragons, demons, figures, horse, palmettes; rim decoration resembling architecture ziggurat., A ceramic bowl with a short pedestal base shown against a gray background, decorated with hand-painted motifs in blue, dark green, brown, and cream. The bowl's exterior band features floral and leaf-like patterns, curving scrolls, and a scene with a seated human figure rendered in blue and brown tones. The rim area has a narrow decorative border with intersecting hatch patterns and small floral elements in blue and green. The lower edge of the bowl above the foot has a repeating wave or petal border painted in blue. The surface shows areas of glaze variation and slight wear along the rim and foot.
