Bowl, 2nd half of the 19th century, Iran. Ceramic glazed tableware vessel height 7.5 cm; diameter 17.4 cm. Qajar dynasty 1785–1925. Decoration: knightly and figurative scenes with horses and falcons; rims decorated with figures, architecture, flowers, animals, palmettes, and inscriptions. Persian, Islamic art; ceramics., A low ceramic bowl with decorative painted designs sits on a reflective surface against a plain gray background; the bowl has a rounded body and a short foot with glaze drips visible at the base, and its exterior shows intricate painted motifs in blue, green, brown, and cream tones including floral shapes and stylized patterns, with areas of worn or aged glazing and a thin darker rim along the top edge.
