Decoration on the rim: Rostam, with a dragon and Majnun i Lejla and the date 1893. Figural scenes, dragons, birds, literary motifs; also depicts lutes and a jambiyah., A shallow ceramic bowl with a rounded foot showing a painted narrative band around its exterior, featuring a reclining animal figure rendered in yellowish-brown with dark green outlines and a stylized tree or foliage nearby in dark green, with an adjacent human figure drawn in fine dark green lines; the upper rim area is decorated with a repeating dark green linear and foliate border, and the lower rim has a row of raised scalloped green drips above the pale off-white body; visible colors include pale off-white, dark green, yellowish-brown, and hints of brown on the rim, set against a neutral gray background.
