Bottle, Abdullazad Mirza Baba fl. ante 1939, Islamic art, Persian culture, Qajar dynasty 1785–1925, glazed ceramics, bottle fragment with diagonally knobbed foot edge; decoration: bronze lines and stylized feathery twigs; 19th century, Iran; vessel; height 19.0 cm, width 12.0 cm, A bulbous ceramic object with a flared base stands against a pale background; the object is primarily off-white with brown linear decorative motifs resembling vertical plant-like fronds repeated around its rounded body and neck, and the rim is chipped showing an exposed rough brown interior. The base has a scalloped edge with brown detailing and the surface shows a glossy finish with a subtle reflection beneath it. The visible colors are off-white, brown, and a hint of beige in the exposed chipped area, set against a very light grayish-lavender background.
