Bottle, Persian, Qajar dynasty 1785–1925, glazed ceramic vessel bottle, 19th century, Iran; ceramics with decoration in bronze lines and stylized feathery twigs; diagonally knobbed foot edge; height 19.0 cm, width 12.0 cm., A ceramic vessel with an elongated bulbous body and a flared, ridged base sits against a pale lavender-gray background; the vessel is predominantly off-white with dark brown linear and botanical painted decoration forming vertical panels of leafy motifs and small circular rosette-like accents, the rim shows areas of exposed clay in a tan color, and the glossy surface creates a subtle reflection of the object on the smooth surface beneath.
