Cup, Abdullazad Mirza Baba fl. ante 1939, Islamic, Persian, Qajar dynasty 1785–1925, glazed ceramic vessel with zoomorphic motifs, utility ceramic, early 20th century, Iran; height 13.5 cm, diameter 11 cm., A footed ceramic bowl with a rounded cup and flared pedestal is shown against a pale grayish-lavender background, displaying a cream base color with dark green painted decorative patterns; the bowl surface has a band of interlaced vine-like motifs near the rim and a series of swirling floral and paisley-like designs around the body, with visible crack lines and a few repaired chips where the cream body shows through, and the pedestal foot has alternating dark green and cream vertical stripes and a slightly worn, earthy base that reflects faintly on the surface below.
