Cup, Abdullazad Mirza Baba fl. ante 1939, Islamic art, Persian art, Persian culture, Qajar dynasty 1785–1925, glazed ceramic vessel with zoomorphic motifs, utility ceramic, early 20th century, Iran; height 13.5 cm, diameter 11 cm., A small footed bowl with a rounded cup and flared pedestal, decorated with a repeating ornate pattern in dark green against a cream background, showing a few areas of glaze wear and darker spots; the rim is slightly chipped in places; the pedestal has vertical dark green stripes and a worn, earthy base with brownish discoloration; the surface reflects faintly on the pale lavender-gray surface beneath it.
