Platter on stand, Blue-and-white porcelain, Qing dynasty, Yongzheng period 1723–1735. The platter on a low foot with a wide rim sits on a carved wooden stand. Decorated with plant tendrils with bats and Buddhist emblems; the center of the mirror has a rosette filled with an archaistic swastika ornament. Bats appear among the clouds on the outer wall. Vessel, China; height 21 cm, diameter 45.5 cm., A shallow decorative bowl with blue floral and scroll patterns on a white background sits on an ornate wooden stand with carved curved legs; the bowl shows intricate blue motifs inside and along the rim, and the stand is a warm brown wood placed on a dark surface against a solid dark gray background with shades of charcoal.
