Gui-type incense burner, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 19th century. Bronze ceremonial/ritual vessel with phoenixes, dragons, cranes, unicorns qilin, plant tendril ornamentation. Height 7.5 cm; width 17.8 cm; diameter 13.7 cm; weight 0.53 kg., A small metal bowl sits centered on a smooth reflective surface, showing a mirrored reflection beneath it; the bowl is primarily dark bronze with ornate gilded accents in gold, featuring embossed decorative patterns and raised motifs around its body and rim, and it has a short rounded foot with similar gold detailing; the interior appears darker and aged, while the background is a plain light gray.
