Hookah mouthpiece; maker, Islamic art; Arabic; smoking accessory pipe; geometric ornament with pearling; early 20th century; likely Yemen or Arabia Petraea origin; length 18.1 cm; diameter 2.1 cm., A narrow vertical metallic object with ornate decorative end caps, showing an elongated central shaft in a reflective silver tone and two highly detailed ends adorned with textured beadwork and raised geometric shapes; the end regions feature patterns of small rounded beads, twisted rope-like bands, and diamond-shaped raised elements arranged in vertical and circular groupings, with the very top ending in a split crown-like form and the bottom flaring into a rounded base studded with clustered beads; the background is a uniform pale grayish-lavender color.
