Hookah mouthpiece; maker, Islamic art; Arabic; smoking accessory hookah/pipe; geometric ornament and pearling; early 20th century; likely Yemen or Arabia Petraea origin; length 18.1 cm; diameter 2.1 cm., A vertical metallic object with an elongated central shaft in a pale silver color and decorative end sections in a darker silver tone; the top end features a crown-like cluster of rounded beads and faceted diamond-shaped elements, surrounded by coiled wire and rows of small spherical beads, with textured raised bands and looped metal details; the lower end mirrors the top with similar patterned bands of coiled wire, clusters of small round beads, and diamond-shaped facets culminating in a rounded base with a ring of larger beads; the central shaft is smooth and reflective, showing subtle linear facets and a uniform pale silver finish against a light muted background in a very light grayish-lavender tone.
