Bulbous bottle with a long neck and a flared spout; second spout is bell-shaped at the collar. Border features flowers against a spiderweb background and artemisia leaves on the neck. 18th century, China. Height 23.7 cm; diameter 16 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a long narrow neck and a flared rim sits against a plain background, predominantly deep blue in color with a glossy finish and subtle gold-painted floral decorations on its bulbous body; the rim shows a band with a lighter, off-white inner surface and a patterned edge in a reddish-brown hue, and a small protruding spout on the shoulder shares the deep blue glaze with a hint of the lighter color at its tip.
