Porcelain vessel with a thick cylindrical neck and a flared spout, decorated with chrysanthemums, peonies, plum trees, meander ornament and plant motifs. Height 61.5 cm; diameter 25.7 cm; weight 10.0 kg., A decorative vase with a rounded body and a flaring neck sits against a plain light gray background. The vase surface is predominantly turquoise with areas of blue, green, gold, red, white, pink, and black used in intricate painted and enamelled floral and geometric patterns. A band of gold accents rings the rim and another gold band encircles the shoulder. The upper neck shows a repeating geometric maze-like pattern in turquoise and darker blue with small scattered floral motifs in white, black, pink, and blue. Below the shoulder is a row of stylized feather- or petal-like motifs in green and blue edged with gold. The body of the vase features scattered floral sprays and blossoms in white, pink, yellow, red, blue, and green, set against the turquoise patterned background. The foot of the vase includes a decorative border with deep blue panels, gold detailing, and touches of turquoise and green.
