The lid has patterned panels with turquoise geometric motifs and floral designs in yellow and pink, and the body features white inset panels with painted botanical and bird scenes surrounded by raised bead-like appliqués in pink, blue, and purple. There are small molded leaf and bud decorations in green and turquoise, a twisted gold-colored handle on the front, and a stepped base banded in pink, white, and turquoise with scrolling floral ornament. The surface shows a glossy glaze and the object is set against a plain gray background.
