Cylindrical horn type vase, maker, Chinese, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period 1662–1722; colored porcelain in the famille verte green palette; lotus tendril ornament and belt decoration; vessel height 37.5 cm, diameter 18.0 cm, weight 2.35 kg., A tall flared ceramic vase decorated all over with an intricate scrolling vine pattern in green on a white background, featuring a repeating motif of a chubby childlike figure in pale flesh tones engaged with the vines, each figure wearing a green garment with a central round ornament in red and orange and holding parts of the vine; the vine design includes a few yellow and brown stylized leaves and occasional darker green accents, with thin brown band borders separating vertical sections, and a narrow brown rim at the top and base.
