Bottle for spraying water soaked in perfumes, Islamic art; vessel with plant and floral ornament; decoration: multi-leafed undecorated cartouches alternating with small flowers. 19th–20th century; possibly Turkey or North Africa. Weight 113 g; height 17.5 cm; diameter 8.0 cm., A tall, teardrop-shaped metal vessel with a long narrow neck and a rounded body, shown against a plain light gray background; the surface of the vessel is metallic silver with darker etched or engraved floral and leaf motifs decorating the bulbous section and a scalloped band near the shoulder; there are raised ornamental medallion-like shapes on the sides and a central floral cluster on the front; the neck has a few subtle horizontal bands and a threaded rim at the top; the foot is flared with layered decorative ridges and a slight dent on one side; overall tones visible are silver, light gray, and subtle darker gray in the engraved details.
