Teapot; maker, 19th century, Turkey Ottoman dynasty, 1299–1922; Islamic art, Turkish; silver vessel; teapot/jug form; height 17.0 cm, diameter 10.9 cm, weight 320 g; decorated with geometric motifs, plant ornament including lambrequin, zigzag patterns., A silver-colored metal pitcher with a bulbous lower body tapering to a narrower midsection and a rounded lid topped by a small finial, featuring engraved decorative patterns around the midsection, near the top, and along the lower shoulder; a curved spout extends from one side and a thin, curved handle with a small curled end attaches on the opposite side; the surface shows areas of slight tarnish and subtle scratches, and the background is a pale gray.
