Brass censer with figurative scenes of hunting, riders, acrobatics, dragons and fantastic beasts, human figures, animals and demons in cartouches, dense arabesque background and plant motifs; height 33.0 cm, diameter 22.0 cm., An ornate metal lidded vessel with a rounded body and pedestal base, displaying intricate openwork and pierced patterns; the lid has a pointed finial and layered decorative bands, and the body shows a series of framed figural and animal motifs within delicate filigree; the pedestal flares outward and repeats the pierced and engraved decoration; visible colors include dark brown, bronze, and hints of muted gold against a pale gray background.
