Related historical context: Boxer Rebellion 1899–1901., A small shallow bowl with a short pedestal base sits on a reflective surface against a plain gray background, the bowl's exterior is white with painted floral motifs in yellow, pink, and green, and a narrow metallic rim. The interior rim shows a repeating geometric border in pastel shades of blue, yellow, green, and pink, and the bowl's glaze gives subtle white highlights and reflections.
