Vase with a thick neck, parted towards the spout. Cloisonné enamel on copper; spout and foot enclosed by brass rings. Nagoya, Japan. Vessel; height 26.5 cm, width 15.5 cm., A tall, narrow vase with a flared rim sits against a plain light gray background, its surface covered in colorful floral and bird motifs. The main field of the vase is bright sky blue, decorated with a group of pink and white blossoms on thin brown branches and green leaves. A bird with deep blue wings, brown body, and darker feather details appears in flight among the flowers. The upper section of the vase features a band of intricate patterns in deep red, black, white, and blue with stylized floral shapes, while the lower rim shows a decorative border in muted brown and black with touches of blue. The interior of the rim is a lighter blue, and the vase rests on a reflective surface that mirrors its colors and shapes.
