Bronze helmet with rectilinear cutouts for the eyes, nose, mouth, and chin, with two prominent reinforcement ribs. 550–500 BC, Italy, armament. Height 26 cm, width 19.3 cm, depth 25 cm, weight 0.994 kg., A single metal helmet is shown from the front, with a rounded dome and two downward flaring cheek guards creating a large rectangular face opening; the surface is uneven and pitted with areas of rough texture and small raised ridges along the crown, and there are a few small protruding studs on the top and sides. The visible colors are shades of green and greenish-gray with patches of darker green, muted brown, and some lighter greenish highlights, set against a plain neutral gray background.
