Crooked, rather large nose; closed mouth; vertical furrow on the chin; narrow neck. Pinkish, gray-burnt clay. Hellenistic period, Egypt, 332–30 BC. Figurine; height 4 cm, width 2.8 cm, depth 1.7 cm., A roughly carved stone head with a rough texture and irregular shape sits against a smooth pale gray background, the stone showing mostly brown and dark brown tones with some lighter tan areas; the face has deeply incised features including prominent brow ridges, hollowed eye sockets, a pronounced nose, and a downturned mouth, with visible tool marks and surface pitting, and a shadow falls above the object creating a soft darker gray arc on the background.
