Hexagonal matrix for imprinting terracotta decorations, 1st–3rd century; Roman period, Tell Atrib, form; height 15.8 cm, width 15.3 cm, depth 12 cm, A roughly rectangular stone block with an uneven, weathered surface sits against a uniform pale gray background; the stone shows a carved, low-relief shape resembling a vertical pillar with a rounded top and a horizontal incision near its upper third, and the surface of the stone displays a range of earthy colors including tan, beige, brown, and hints of ochre and gray, with areas of darker mottling and some smoother lighter patches.
