Ushabti. Carelessly made figurine with schematic facial features, in a narrow wig revealing the ears, with a rather short beard. In his hands he holds a mattock. The back is flat; the end of the wig is marked with an engraved line. Feet on a pedestal. Glaze almost completely worn away. Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Ushabti; height 6.5 cm, width 2 cm, depth 1.4 cm., noted., A small, elongated carved figure photographed against a plain light gray background; the object has a rounded top and tapers toward the bottom, with a roughly textured surface showing weathering and small pits; visible colors include pale beige and light tan across most of the surface, patches of bluish-green and gray, and small areas of darker brown; the form suggests a simplified human-like shape with a head-like top and a narrower lower section, and there are a few irregular surface deposits and spots of discoloration.
