The back is flat; the end of the wig is marked with an engraved line. Feet on a pedestal. Glaze almost completely worn away. Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Ushabti; height 6.6 cm, width 2 cm, depth 1.4 cm., Gift; author/, A textured vertical object resembling a small carved figure with a rough, pitted surface in shades of beige and light tan with patches of pale green and muted blue, photographed against a plain light gray background; the object tapers slightly toward one end and has subtle ridges and indentations along its length, with a few darker specks and areas of variation in color.
