Thick-walled blue glass vessel with one convex band decorated with fine horizontal grooves, flat arms, heavily carved base with four feet, and wheel-cut decoration. 9th–11th century, Egypt. Height 4.1 cm; width 1.7 cm., A translucent aqua-blue glass object with a symmetrical, ridged profile centered against a light gray background, showing textured surfaces and irregular edges, a darker bluish core visible through the glass, a few tiny air bubbles and surface imperfections, and subtle areas of darker greenish-blue and faint brownish spots near the lower section.
