Amulet in the shape of Bes's head decorated with a crown. The grotesque face with sideburns is shaped similar to a triangle, the base of which is a flat lower part of the face. The back of the amulet is smooth, with a transverse hole at the height of the crown. 7th–4th century BC; Late Period, Egypt. Amulet; height 2.5 cm, width 1.4 cm., A small sculpted object resembling a stylized head with exaggerated facial features, shown against a plain light gray background; the surface is uneven and worn with a textured, pitted appearance and visible chips, especially near the top; colors visible include shades of green, turquoise, pale beige, brown, and small areas of dark gray or black; the form shows raised ridges and rounded protrusions suggesting eyes, a pronounced nose, and a layered mouth, with a taller irregular extension rising from the top that has both smoother and rougher areas.
