Arched fibula, unknown Roman workshop. Fibula with an arched hoop decorated with two crossbars and rectangular plates with embossed circles. The pin grows from a cylindrical crossbar. The long, flat sheath is decorated with an oval plate on the front. Preservation condition: parts of the sheath and pin are missing. Date: 75–150, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Material: bronze? implied. Type: fibula. Dimensions: height 1.6 cm, width 4.1 cm, weight 0.006 kg., A small metallic object with a worn, rough surface lies centered against a plain grey background; the object is primarily bronze and brown with areas of darker patina and hints of greenish oxidation, showing a long narrow shaft terminating in a flattened round end on one side and a thicker rectangular block on the other, with a short raised collar and two adjacent raised circular bosses along its length, and textured irregularities and scratches visible across its surface.
