Dilekyt, unknown Eastern workshop Syrian or Palestinian. Glass vessel, Roman Empire, 3rd century. The vessel consists of two tubes connected at one side with a flat bottom. Outer sides are gently curved toward the axis and decorated with two thick wavy glass threads that begin with thickenings at one-third of the vessel's height and terminate at the rings of slightly flared spouts. At the joints of the threads and spouts, a large bow-shaped vice is supported, wider on one side than the other and narrowed at the top. Height 15.7 cm; width 7.3 cm; depth 2.3 cm., A close-up view of a translucent green glass object with a curved handle spanning horizontally across the frame, showing a pair of rounded hollow sections beneath the handle and a central vertical divider; the glass has variations in green tones with areas of pale green and darker green, some internal bubbles and slight cloudiness, and small patches of lighter whitish residue or dust visible inside the hollows; the background is a smooth very light gray.
