Terracotta figurine of a standing woman. Terracotta, molded figurine; 4th century BC, Tanagra Greece. Figurine of a standing woman dressed in a chiton and himation. The body pose is in contrapposto. The hands are hidden under the robe — the left lowered, the right bent at the elbow and resting on the back. Hair tied in a bun. Preservation condition: missing polychrome and base. Height 16.5 cm; width 6.5 cm; depth 4 cm., A small worn figurine viewed from the back showing a standing human form with a rounded head and a long draped garment; the surface shows areas of smooth and rough texture with patches where material has flaked away. The visible colors are beige, cream, white, and touches of pinkish-brown on the head, set against a uniform gray background.
