One wall has a star motif with a rosette in the middle and a palmette; the other wall and the side arms have a honeycomb motif. Violet manganese glass. Syria/Egypt/Middle East place of origin uncertain. Vessel; height 11.8 cm, width 9.1 cm, depth 4.2 cm., A smooth, elongated dark object with an oval, pebble-like shape is centered against a pale grey background; its surface is primarily deep black with areas of dark brown and scattered patches of dull gold and lighter brown discoloration, and there is a raised circular knob near the center with a rounded hole in its middle showing a darker interior.
