The belly is widened at the arms, which merge into a cylindrical, slightly convex neck with a narrow opening. One wall has a star motif with a rosette in the middle and a palmette; the other wall and the side arms have a honeycomb motif. Violet manganese glass. Syria/Egypt/Middle East probable origin. Vessel. Height 11.8 cm; width 9.1 cm; depth 4.2 cm., A smooth, elongated object with a rounded top and tapered bottom resembling a bottle or pestle, shown against a plain light gray background; the object's surface is dark, appearing black with areas of deep purple and muted brownish patches, and it has a worn, slightly glossy texture with visible scratches and scuffs.
