Black-finned aryballois lekythos, /workshop., repossession Silesia. Lekythos, black-finned pottery. Large, ring-shaped foot. Body squat, barrel-shaped with rounded shoulders. Neck narrow, clearly separated from body, with flaring rim. Upper part of body has a slightly irregular clay-colored orange band not covered with finnis; on it, at the front, a rather carelessly executed meander interrupted with black paint. Upper part of the vice is tilted to the left. Condition: minor chips, rim edge worn. Date: 1st half of the 19th century; 4th century BC. Unknown site/place of origin. Vessel lekythos. Height 10.9 cm; diameter 5.4 cm., A dark ceramic vessel with a narrow flared neck and a rounded body, featuring a single curved handle attaching from the upper neck to the shoulder; the surface shows worn spots and flecks revealing lighter underlying material, and a horizontal band of lighter color encircles the shoulder with a dark zigzag motif on it; visible colors include black, a tan or light brown band, and small areas of exposed lighter clay.
