Male figurine, unknown Boeotian workshop. Standing man on a high quadrangular base, arched at the back. Weight of the body rests on the right leg, left leg slightly forward. Torso naked at the front, leaning backward with the right hip protruding; body slender. A robe draped over the shoulders and covering the back conceals the hands. Head slightly tilted to the right; face treated schematically with large eyes. In the lowered right hand the figure holds an elongated object, while the left hand presses a round vessel to the chest. Base covered with a visible strip of brown paint; figurine bears traces of red-pink polychrome. The eyes were covered with white paint. 5th–4th century BC earlier dating: mid-5th century BC. Boeotia.
