Aucissa-type fibula, Rome Empire. Complete brooch of the Aucissa type from the Black Sea region. Flat ring decorated with an elongated roller; earth-brown patina. Half of the thin roller, with a hole for attaching a needle, is broken off. End of the 1st century BC–1st century. Unknown site of origin Black Sea region. Fibula; height 3.2 cm, width 5 cm, depth 1.4 cm, weight 6 g., A single elongated metallic object lies horizontally against a plain light gray background, showing a weathered surface with patina in shades of dark gray, brown, and hints of green; one end tapers into a rounded, bulbous knob while the opposite end is slightly flared with a small protrusion, and the central shaft displays a series of longitudinal ridges and shallow grooves giving it a segmented appearance.
