Pear-shaped vial, unknown Eastern workshop. The body is a slightly elongated sphere with a flattened bottom. The neck is long, exceeding the height of the body, cylindrical, ending with an outwardly curled horizontal rim. The surface on both sides of the joint between the body and the neck is decorated with a thin, grooved spiral line. 1st–2nd century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel; height 17.5 cm, width 8.5 cm., A single glass bottle with a rounded base and a long narrow neck, shown upright against a plain background; the bottle surface has an aged, weathered appearance with irregular patches and streaks of a pale gold-beige color over a translucent bluish-green glass, and the rim at the top shows a slightly darker bluish-green tint.
