Icon in a cover: Christ Pantocrator. The icon represents a traditional, half-length variant of Christ Pantocrator referring to designs dating to the 16th century. The Savior's face is elongated, ascetic, with a light brown complexion brightened by tones; lower eyelids, forehead wrinkles, and neck folds are clearly marked. Christ wears a red chiton decorated with fine gold ornaments, an ochre sash covered with assyst, and a navy blue himation with rather small, pointed folds. The inscription on the book is made with a decorative ribbon. Around Christ's head is a cross halo with the letters OOH. On both sides of the figure are inscriptions: the Christological monogram and Lord Almighty.
