Figurine of a woman. A girl sitting in a chair is dressed in a soft white chiton over which a blue, in some places lilac, cloak is thrown, which opens at the front. She rests her left hand on the chair cushion, while her right rests on her knees and is covered by the cloak. Her brown hair is parted at the front, combed upwards and girded. The full chair with forward-curved legs has a narrow and low backrest; the seat cushion is blue on top and red underneath. No base. Early 3rd century BC, Tanagra Greece. Terracotta figurine, height 16 cm, width 8 cm, depth 10 cm, weight 0.25 kg., A seated statue of a robed female figure with detailed drapery, showing a textured surface and worn paint in shades of beige, gray, brown, muted blue, and hints of reddish-brown on the hair and headband; the figure has curled hair pulled into a topknot, a calm facial expression, and hands resting on the lap and armrest; the robe forms flowing folds over the legs and down to the base, and the figure sits on a simple block-like seat against a plain gray background.
