Amphoriskos; with an elongated neck; eastern Syrian or Cypriot workshop;, 2nd–1st century BC. Type: Grose group II:E, form III:4. Opaque glass, dark blue-green decoration in the form of festoon patterns made with yellow and brown threads; discoidal rim; neck widening slightly downwards; baggy belly; solid foot. Vertical vices one partially chipped, double vices made of translucent, light honey-green thread; formed on the core. Outer diameter of the rim: 2.25 cm. Height: 14.80 cm. Body diameter: 4.10 cm. Bottom diameter: 2.85 cm. Vessel; height 14.8 cm; width 4.1 cm., A tall slender glass vessel with a narrow neck and rounded base stands against a plain gray background; the body displays a repeating featherlike pattern in yellow and dark maroon on a black field, the neck has horizontal stripes in similar yellow and dark maroon on black, and the vessel has a small rounded black foot. A looped handle on one side is amber-colored with lighter speckling, and a second looped handle on the opposite side is pale greenish-yellow and translucent. The overall colors visible are black, yellow, maroon, amber, pale greenish-yellow, and gray from the background.
