Skyphos, deep bowl with wide foot and two small vertical handles. Surface decorated with a zigzag ornament applied with irregular threads. 3rd–4th century AD, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel, height 11 cm., A translucent glass vessel with a rounded bowl and a short stem on a flattened foot, primarily pale olive-green in color with darker green accents; the surface shows irregular bubbles and streaks, and several raised twisted glass ribbons and arc-shaped applied elements wrap around the bowl creating a decorative network; the rim is slightly uneven and the base appears textured with rippled glass, all shown against a light neutral background.
