Unguentarium, unknown eastern workshop, translucent glass, mosaic: blue-violet-white. Pear-shaped body, cylindrical neck, rim tilted outwards and curved inwards, flattened; sagging/free blowing. End of 1st century BC–first half of 1st century AD. Unguentarium vessel, rim diameter 2.3 cm, base diameter 2.05 cm, weight 0.030 kg. Type: Isings form 6/28., A single small glass vessel with a narrow neck and flared lip sits on a flat surface against a plain background; the vessel has a bulbous base tapering into a slender neck and displays a glossy finish with swirling vertical streaks in shades of dark blue, deep purple, pale pink, and touches of gold, along with a few lighter oval spots and subtle surface imperfections.
