Hard-fired, granular, light gray clay 7.5YR N7/; gray glaze 10YR 5/18, matte, covers entire surface, intentionally rough sandblasted. On upper body, en barbotine decoration of stylized lanceolate leaves between two stripes of dots. Whole vessel, 2nd half of the 1st century, Cologne, vessel, height 8.0 cm, width 7.0 cm., A rounded clay vessel with a wide open mouth and a flared rim, showing a rough, pitted surface in shades of beige, tan, gray, and brown. The body of the vessel features raised decorative ridges and a row of small rounded protrusions encircling it, along with a few elongated, leaf-like applied elements. The interior appears darker, almost charcoal gray, contrasting with the lighter exterior. The vessel sits against a smooth, muted bluish-gray background.
