Hard-fired, granular, light gray clay 7.5YR N7/; gray matte glaze 10YR 5/18 covering the entire surface, intentionally rough sandblasted. Upper body with en barbotine decoration of stylized lanceolate leaves between two stripes of dots. Whole vessel, 2nd half of the 1st century, Cologne, height 8.0 cm, width 7.0 cm., A weathered rounded pot with a wide flattened rim sits against a plain background; the surface shows a coarse, pitted texture with a band of raised bead-like bumps encircling its midsection and some shallow incised lines and chips near the upper area; the pot displays mottled tones of beige, light brown, gray, and darker brown speckles, with subtle variations in those colors across its body.
