Black-finned skyphos, Czara-skyphos of the thick-walled variety with two handles, with a deep bowl on a low, profiled foot. Inside the vessel is an ornament made with a stamp, with six palmettes. Inside the circle are two concentric circles, between which are placed ovules. The whole is surrounded by a band of ovules between two engraved lines. The outer part of the vessel's foot is decorated with concentric circular elements. Technology: Varnish evenly distributed, matte. Visible turning marks. Admixtures: mica pyroxene. Clay color 2.5 YR 6/6 light red. Varnish color 10 YR 2/1 black. Attributed to Kamila Nocon, early 4th century BC, Attica place of manufacture. Vessel skyphos. Dimensions: height 10.4 cm, width 23.5 cm, depth 16.6 cm, weight 0.456 kg, foot diameter 8.2 cm., A black ceramic vessel with a rounded bowl-like body set on a short pedestal base and a broad rim, featuring a pair of curved handles that extend outward and upward from opposite sides; the surface shows small areas of wear revealing lighter spots, and a few tiny chips; the overall colors visible are black, lighter beige where the worn spots appear, and a neutral gray background.
