Hornakht's shabti, back pillars, hieroglyphs, wigs, beards facial hair. Hornakht ca. 525–30 BC. Funerary figurine mummy-shaped shabti, standing on a base, back supported by a pillar/pilaster. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over the left. In the right hand is a long-bladed hoe and two strings, from which hangs a semicircular basket on the back slightly above the elbow; in the left hand a whip. Hands and tools are engraved. Wears a long, three-part smooth wig. Long straight beard of uniform width. Face with coarse features, roughly defined eyes, wide nose, prominent mouth with a slight smile. Right ear significantly larger than the left. Inscription carved in a single column on the front, extending from chin to feet; names the deceased Hornakht and his mother content otherwise unclear. Date: 664–30 BC Late Period–Ptolemaic. Egypt. Type: shabti. Height 11.6 cm, width 3.1 cm., A slender, upright figurine viewed in profile standing on a rectangular plinth, with a smooth elongated form and a stylized head featuring a pronounced nose and chin and a flat-backed hairstyle that extends down the back; the surface shows worn texture and small pitted areas, with coloration in shades of beige, tan, light brown, and hints of pale green, and a few darker brown spots; the plinth is a warm ochre color and the background is a uniform medium gray.
