Ushabti Psamtyk-seneb, wigs, funerary figurine, hieroglyphs, beards facial hair, Psamtyk-seneb ca. 747–332 BC, back pillar, grave goods, mummy-shaped figurine standing on a base, back supported by a pillar/pilaster. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand a long-bladed hoe, in the left a pickaxe; handles of both tools rolled up at the ends. A bag on the back, slung over the left shoulder on a single string. Three-part smooth wig. Long, tapering beard braided into a plait. Engraved inscription in one column on a pilaster reading Osiris Psammetik-seneb born of Jerou justified by the voice. 664–332 BC; Late Period, Egypt. Shabti; height 12.5 cm, width 3 cm., A small figurine of a human-like figure standing upright with arms crossed over the chest, rendered in a weathered turquoise-green with areas of brownish patina and lighter beige wear, showing a stylized head with a headdress and a pronounced chin area, a tapered body narrowing toward the base, and a rectangular footed stand; the background is a uniform medium gray and the surface of the figurine shows speckled discoloration and variations of green, blue-green, brown, beige, and off-white.
