Votive stela of the priest Peraaerneheh. The stele decoration is arranged in two registers. The upper register depicts Osiris seated on a throne at an offering table, in front of whom stands a priest dressed in leopard skin, holding a censer and a ritual vessel, and behind him a second figure on a smaller scale. In the lower register, three people—a married couple and their daughter—bring offerings a tray of bread and a bouquet of flowers to a lady seated in a lion-pawed chair next to a small table with loaves of bread. Inscriptions include sacrificial formulas and hieroglyphs naming Peraaerneheh ca. 1295–1184 BC and associated persons Tia; Maya; Pianefer; Medjeri; Ta-miu; Ankh. Iconography: offerings, atef crown, lotus, censer, nechacha whip, heka scepter, offering tables, throne, priests, religious/grave equipment scenes. Date: c. 1295–c. 1186 BC, New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty, Saqqara. Material/format: stele; height 57.5 cm, width 38.5 cm, depth 9.5 cm, weight 33 kg., A carved stone stele in beige and light gray tones with a rounded top, featuring shallow relief figures arranged in upper and lower horizontal registers; the upper register shows a seated figure on the left facing a standing figure on the right with a small table or offering between them and a few vertical rows of carved signs above, while the lower register shows a seated figure on the left receiving offerings from standing figures on the right with a small table beside the seated figure and additional vertical carved signs flanking the scene; the surface shows tool marks and slight weathering with shadows accentuating the carved lines against a neutral gray background.
