Amulet — papyrus scepter; amulet in the shape of a scepter topped with a papyrus canopy. 664–525 BC; Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Egypt. Material: papyrus?; height 2.5 cm, width 1.9 cm., A small, elongated object shaped like a tapered peg with a rounded top and a hole near the top, shown against a plain light gray background; the object is primarily bright turquoise blue with a few areas of darker blue and some small brownish spots, and it has a vertical series of short red markings along its shaft.
