Amulet - tit, protective amulet in the shape of a tit knot made of dark blue glass, with hieroglyphs; Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt; grave good; amulet, height 4.6 cm, width 1.8 cm, A small figurine-shaped object with a rounded head and broad shoulders tapering to a narrow base, painted predominantly blue with worn areas showing darker and lighter blue tones and patches of brownish wear, and with several small areas of red pigment on the head, torso, and lower body. The surface appears textured and uneven with scratches and chips, and there is a small rectangular patch of faded tan material affixed near the base. The background is a pale gray.
